I had a lot of fun showing my work at art fairs for the summer of 2024.

  • Art in the Park at the Three Rivers Festival in Fort Wayne, IN July 13 & 14
In spite of having to zip up my tent and hunker down during a storm for half an hour, it was a good weekend. Friemann Square is a lovely venue.

  • Art Beat in South Bend Indiana — August 10
More rough weather — the wind was unrelenting, so I spent a lot of time holding on to my tent walls. I met lots of interesting people, and my oil painting Peacock Portrait went to a new home. I introduced a collection of 5” x 7” prints, and Giraffe was the most popular. The original in oils is still available by the way.

  • the Lubeznik Arts Festival at the Lubeznik Center for the Arts in Michigan City, IN — August 17 & 18
Even worse winds off of Lake Michigan, but we were warned about that and I was prepared with new weights for my tent. There might have been an angel or two holding up my display walls. The event staff were fantastically helpful! Lots more great people to meet. My ink and watercolor piece Cozy House went to a new home. The most popular of my mini prints this time was Yellow Frog.
